When is the 2020 South Melbourne Night Market?
The Night Market will take place on five Wednesdays this summer, running from 8 January to 5 February.

Are dogs allowed at the Night Market?
Dogs are NOT allowed inside the Market due to health and safety regulations, however are permitted on Cecil and Coventry Streets.

How do I get to the Night Market?
The Market is easily accessible by tram, bus, bicycle or car. Visit our Getting Here page for details.

Is there parking available at the Night Market?
Yes, the Market has 2-hours free parking in the rooftop carpark. Click here to view carpark hours and rates. Please note the best way to get to the Night Market is by public transport or bike, so we recommend leaving the car at home.

I’d like to have a stall at the Night Market. How do I apply?
Stall applications for the 2020 season are now closed.

What happens in extreme weather?
The safety of our guests, performers and staff is paramount. In the event of extreme weather, we may close the venue, if this occurs we will advise the public as best we can through messaging on social media and onsite announcements.

The South Melbourne Market and the rooftop carpark are undercover, so if weather affects our outdoor entertainment and vendors, guests are able to (and encouraged to!) come inside.

Is there an ATM at the Night Market?
Yes, there are several non-bank specific ATM’s located within the Market.

Is there a lost and found?
Yes. If you have lost an item or found something, please contact the Market Office with details.
